Amazon cancels Astro Bot for Business
As WIRED reports, Amazon is discontinuing development of a business version of the Astro Robot. Business customers will receive a refund.
The Astro for Business was intended to guarantee security for small and medium-sized businesses. To this end, the patrolling robot was equipped with cameras, night vision and the ability to make two-way calls. It should be able to monitor areas of up to 5,000 square meters.
The version for private households is not expected to be affected by the development stop.

Vacuum robot for beds
A kickstarter campaign for the X1 bed vacuum robot was launched in mid-June. The developers write about their robot:
