FieldBots Radar Newsletter 2504

Attention to the little things in the all-new FieldBots 5.

Dear Philipp,

FieldBots 5 has made some serious waves recently — especially with the major updates to Connect, Operate, and Maintain. But in this issue, we’re turning our attention to the little things. Because often, it’s the small details that make the biggest difference.

We asked the team to share their favorite tiny-but-mighty improvements and hidden gems from the past few months. You’ll find them collected here, in the hope that one or two might bring a little spark of joy to your day.

For me, it’s the small steps in growing our robot family. Welcoming the Lionsbot robots was a highlight—each new addition quietly expands what’s ultimately possible for our customers.

Andrew Bruckner

Not sure a dashboard for big screens counts as a small thing—but having a TV Mode in Connect is definitely my highlight this time. Easy to set up with the widgets you want and satisfying to look at.

Philipp Feil

We’ve waited quite a while for this: individual robot settings! Fleet-wide configs are great, but those tiny edge cases now have a home—and that makes all the difference when precision matters.

Eldric Chew

One small widget I think deserves the spotlight: the ability to attach documents to robots and manufacturers. It’s simple, but incredibly useful for keeping everything in one place.

Barbara Jedlinska

I may have jumped the gun posting it on LinkedIn already—but I love the new Dark Mode. It looks great on smartphones and desktops, follows system settings, and makes long days easier on the eyes.

Alexander Feil

A small but much-needed option: push notifications are finally here. Especially valuable for operational teams—now there’s one more way to stay informed when it really counts.

Jonas Bark

I picked the tiniest detail I could think of—but it’s genius: FieldBots now suggests tickets, and creating one is just a single click. A small feature, that brings big convenience to our users.

Lukas Thaler

Have you had a chance to explore the new FieldBots 5? What’s your small thing? What’s your personal little highlight? We’d love to hear it—drop us a message on LinkedIn or let your FieldBots contact know. Thanks for reading, and we’ll be back next month with another edition of the FieldBots Radar Newsletter. Until then, take care and stay curious.
