Industry Highlights: Spotlight on Service Robotics & Industry Shifts
Welcome to the September edition of the FieldBots Radar, where we round up the latest from the world of cleaning robotics.
Eufy Unveils Stair-Climbing Robot Dock
At IFA 2025, Eufy introduced the MarsWalker, a stair-climbing module that carries robot vacuums like a stairlift between floors.
While it doesn’t clean the stairs themselves, it enables multi-floor operation without elevators. This kind of modular mobility could inspire commercial applications down the line.
New Zealand’s Largest Cleaning Robot Fleet Goes Live
Simpple Australia has deployed the largest known fleet of cleaning robots in Australia. The robots are being used in the retirement living sector. According to Simpple’s integration partner Mode Technology, a total of 92 robots have been deployed across active environments such as airports and shopping centres. This marks a major step forward for large-scale automation in public facilities.
Tennant is scaling up its autonomous cleaning robot production with a new push in Europe. This move aims to meet rising demand while improving logistics and support within the region. It’s a sign that European facilities are increasingly ready for robotics at scale.
Pudu Robotics has introduced a new self-cleaning docking station for its CC1 series. The dock cleans brushes and squeegees automatically, reducing manual maintenance and pushing the CC1 closer to true hands-free operation.
